Project Nim

I just went to the UK premiere of James Marsh's new film, Project Nim.  I worked on it very briefly.  Like 2 days of pick up archive shots.  None of which were used in the final film as it happens.  But still rather delightedly I got a credit!  I am so deeply chuffed.  To be fair they kind of have to being as I am member of Focal and that is part of the deal if I work on anything.  But never the less.  I got a feature film credit.  Most chuffed!

As for the film, it really is am incredible and moving story.  About a chimp reared to believe it was human.  Amazing archive footage of him playing with the family, and later, hanging out with the hippy keepers.  Its very 70's in so many respects.  And really very sad in places though am glad to say, not ultimately as tragic as it could have been.
