I do have so much to tell you about the
DWYL retreat. I still can't begin!
OK. I will start with a bit of art. As you may know I did a class with
Flora Bowley. And I loved it. We spent 3 days painting with her. Her way of painting and teaching is to keep fluid and intuitive and is all about the PROCESS. So we started and indeed spent a day covering our canvases with layers and layers of dots, stripes, swirls, sometimes with eyes closed, sometimes with brushes, sometimes making thumb or finger prints, using lots of colours to create....... a sort of base to start to draw out a painting. Its as if the painting begins to appear and you act and paint instinctively.
So to give you some images here is one of my canvases at various points through out the process. (Actually I may be wrong and it may have been another canvas, they changed so much as the days went by!)

| I think this is at the end of the first day... |
 |
| and this is somewhere during the second day |
 |
| and this is the final (or very nearly final) version |

I love seeing the evolution of the paintings. It was hard to stop and take pictures though, I found, because I was so into the process. I can't wait to see what you write about next!
Sounds fantastic and I love the painting at every stage Full of vitality. Excellent
Love the way your paintings completely changed Moyra. Can't wait to hear the rest of your story!
