The Secret Salad Society is born

First supper is next week 12th July at the Lab for the Recently Possible.  Or maybe the Wild School.  Its the same place.

Its an experiment to see if making a salad can change peoples lives.

And its all about making a salad you love.  Either you love it already and you want to share it.  Or you love the look of it and you want to try it.

In this instance the salads are strictly vegetarian (not vegan though so you can use cheese)

Starts at 7.30pm

Bring - ingredients to make your salad.  OR your salad already prepared and ready to share.  Bring the recipe too.

I will provide a big salad, bread and a bottle of wine.  Bring wine too if you want to.

We will taste each all the salads and discuss how they were made.

After that conversation is up to you.

Everyone will be asked to leave their name, the name of the salad they made - and ideally the recipe for it.

At the end of the experiment.  Everyone will be sent a link to the recipes.  And I will document it all somehow.  Just for fun.

Sound's wonderful and predict it will be a roaring success, clever you!

A salad is salad is so incredibly versatile (nothing like the old skool limp iceberg lettuce of the past) and sophisticated with all the varieties of fresh produce, herbs, oils etc. you can really get creative! A salad can be light or substantial offering , made lovingly from the heart to delight the taste buds, mind, body and soul( It's feel good fuel:-) You could it eat everyday , never tiresome.

it IS so versatile. I have already started experimenting. With my mum yesterday I made 3 entirely new salads. one, which involved grated carrot, yoghurt, ginger and toasted flaked almonds was particularly awesome.
