daily update

What went well

I survived!
I went to a brilliant meet up at the new coworking space I have joined.  its called the Happy Start up school.  And it seems very nice  - and happy.  Learned some interesting things and I have some things I want to try out in the world from it.  (must see my notes and take action)

had a great long chat with my oldest bestie.  in fact 2 long chats, one when my hub and son were out then they came back so we stopped but then I took bub to the park and we chatted on.

I told her about the no game and challenged her to ask for a pay rise.

dinner was easy and delicious.  we basically had salad and chips from the chippy.

bub went to bed with no fuss.

What could be better

well so much for any kind of 16:8! ha ha.  I am letting myself off, as it turns out I got my period so no wonder I felt shite.  I ate chocolate and cakes and all that sort of stuff.  Which I don't even eat normally.  No such lemon water to start the day or anything.  So will try again -  I did manage lemon and warm water this morning.  So there we go.

Felt overwhelmed by the whole decluttering thing.  Hub gets so annoyed with me for not finishing what I start.  And it feels like I am always trying and never really getting to done with this decluttering tidying thing.  Perhaps I never well.  to be fair the back room has been gutted and everything is in boxes and around the house, so that is not helping.  but the back room has not been decorated yet, which I was going to do, and just haven't gotten around to it.  which is one of the things I started and haven't finished.  perhaps we will just pay the builder to paint it.  it still needs shelving and a new bed.  all stuff that I have to do.  sigh.

So sod the feeling of being overwhelmed.  and just keep swimming.  when the room is done and the kitchen is done (that's the next thing to get started) then it will feel much better.  just keep swimming.
