in search of trying something new to make me feel better

Maybe I could just sit in my funk. Or maybe I can try to do something about it. I was reading the local Hanover News and a holistic nutritionist piece. So in the name of action rather than inaction. I will be trying the following for the next week to see how I feel. If nothing else it will be a distraction from the unsolvable annoyances that have been bugging me of late. And while some may say avoidance is not the answer, I think, sometimes we need to distract ourselves from things that go round and round and go nowhere.

I am starting each day with a cup of hot water
I am not drinking my usual cup of kick arse coffee everyday (I will still drink tea though as I think a total caffeine detox might just make me feel worse not better)
I am having soya milk in tea and in my porridge
I am drinking plenty of water
I am trying a cup of green tea now and again, instead of PG tips
I am eating something raw every day / drinking a green smoothie
I am avoiding cakes and sugar
