Hub joked the other day, that it seems that now I can't even leave the house without being offered another job. On Wednesday a lady from the Hanover Community Centre proposed I get paid to take on the running of regular table top sales at the centre. A win win if ever. I totally am behind the idea of people recycling their 'stuff' - I ran a couple of 'Baby Boot Fairs' where mums could sell all that baby stuff that never got used, or got used only once. I made a bit of money on the door, and people made money selling their stuff. And stuff was recycled back into the local community. This way, I will be making the same sort of money as on the door, people will still make money selling their stuff (we will have themed ones specially for baby stuff and other 'normal' bric a brac ones) and the Centre will fundraise for itself. win win win win I say.
And today M's mum (a friend of mine, who's wee boy I look after every now and again) just asked me for a regular one day a week till March. Brilliant. I have totally decided that I am going to only look for part time work. Ideally a nice weekend job in a nice shop or gallery or some such similar and maintain my primary carer status for Bub. And maintain and increase my involvements in ARTistic Pursuits! And also, investigate further the whole world of Creativity Workshops.
