its nearly ten pm and I have just finished making mince pies for the last playgroup before Christmas. My baking skills are not great, but hell they taste better than mister kiplings! I do love a home made mince pie..... I am getting more into the whole Christmas thingy. Making mince pies always makes me feel like that. Its like a ritual to start the Christmas feeling. Hub wants to send bought cards, but I reckon I have tomorrow afternoon to fabricate a few..... I can't see that they will be unique to any other year, but again.... a home made card.... rocks my boat. Perhaps some people don't appreciate them, but those who do, I am glad to delight. Now I just need to stop eating those made mince pies (they are just such delicious little morsels of Christmas.....yum!)

Oh, mince pies, can I have one please? :) I've left everything until the last minute this year, doing a last minute panic shopping frenzy right now and keeping my fingers crossed it all works out ok :)
