snow is amazing
Today; no one went to work, there were no cars, people roamed freely with smiles on their faces, pulling sledges of smiling children behind them, grown men and women wandered around in groups, covered in snowball debris and laughing, half of playgroup were in the pub before lunchtime (drinking coffee) and at 4pm (drinking wine and beer), the pub was filled with raucous children running and playing through the sea of legs, friendships with neighbours were cemented, here and there folk were armed with spades, clearing the pavements for the whole street for no reason other than to be helpful. And right at the end of it, my thought was lost iphone was found and we watched an awesome documentary about Bill Hicks. What a ride. It was a really good day.
and for those who didn't get to it before youtube hauled it for its nudity.....
