two bits, one a thanks and one a request to the universe

OK its still not the story of the retreat.  I just can't seem to condense it into anything anyone would want to read.... I will post it one day.  However I just had to pop by to let you know of one of those Universe giving you signs things.

Ages ago, and often in my head I have wondered and asked and made my brain ache because I would love to know how to turn what I do at Supergroups (creative brainstorming basically) into some sort of work that I can generate for myself, get paid for..... I meet people who seem to do this kind of thing and I am jealous and I wonder, how did they get into it, how did it happen for them? How can I do that? One of these people is Curtis James from People Who Do.  He organises Likemind Bri with others, all of whom do really cool things, check out Hunter Gatherers (cool name!)  I really liked the sound of his business and this kind of business. (The ultimate would be Li Edelkort  by the way, Universe as I do know you are listening) But how to get into it? How?

So today I was at Likemind (brighton) and met some one who does training for leadership via bodywork (interesting, yes isn't it mad and cool what careers people have!) and someone else who is writing a book about buying a boat.  And then Curtis, who I hardly ever get to talk to at these things, for some reason.  But today I asked him about his business and he told me it was good, so good in fact that they had too much work on and needed to hire more folk in to help them..... er ME ME ME! Part time (perfect) and I will be trained to facilitate groups....  COOOOOOL.  I am actually extremely excited.  Its like a proper grown up (well paid) sort of thing.  Or, OK it could be.  Have no idea at the present.  But it could be.  Better paid than childminding or running a playgroup or probably working in a gallery.... and fun, and challenging and I am really excited by this opportunity.

Second thing

Dear Universe, I have to say you are working absolute wonders with my life these days.  I am extremely and utterly grateful for the things like Do What You Love that you have brought my way.  And the gallery job and the portrait commissions and the PAINTING..... love love love.  I was wondering if you wouldn't mind finding me a studio space?  I don't need much room, a wall and a few feet of space in front of it.  Ideally in a shared space with other really lovely creative and brilliant fun folks.  And either in walking distance or somewhere I can park the car.  An inspiring environs. Where I can continue my painting journey.  I feel so inspired with it, and just loved getting immersed in the process.  Oh and where I can sometimes play my music, or other folk play great music too.  Thanks that would ROCK.
